Decisions

Writer's picture: Camille EllisCamille Ellis

Have you decided what you’ll become, how you will live and what you’ll give for this year?

Now is your time to take action and make your life what you want.

Sometimes deciding can be the challenge. Here’s a simple trick to help remove complications: if you don’t know what you want, then write down what you Don’t want. The human brain is wired to know what we don’t want.

Then, write under your “want” list, the opposite of your “don’t wants”. This will get you closer to what you probably want and your true desire may come to you.

This is when you tap into your courage and use it to achieve your goals. What do you need to believe, to feel, to be courageous? Let yourself believe by telling yourself a daily affirmation. It must feel true to you for this to work.

Let it be something simple you can remember like: “I can do it”, “I got this”, “I will do what needs to be done”…….

If you have a simple message to always tell yourself, it’s simple to use it. Repeat it to yourself out loud, write it down and know it’s true. This will help you keep your momentum when life throws interruptions your way. Stay focused on your purpose, keep telling yourself what you need to hear. Delete any negative self talk with your affirmation. Stay with your courage like it’s the only option.

This is a daily practice to improve on yourself and reach the bar you’ve raised. The only thing that can stop you is you. If you find yourself getting in your way, start over. You are fine. You have all the capability you need right now to do what needs to be done.

“Right now” is all that matters.

Keep this up, get Coached and make the changes you hope to make this year!
