Stagnation

When I encourage a friend to try something new and they say:

“I don’t know if I can do that… I’ve never done it before.”

Or…

“I don’t have the confidence to do that… I don’t know how.”

The thought: “I’ve never done that before or I don’t know how,” is stealing your dreams.

It prevents you from having an incredible life.

Most people would rather keep doing the same thing over and over again than get uncomfortable with something new.

But when you keep doing everything you’ve always done, you just repeat what already exists.

Which means there’s no progress.

No evolution.

No creation.

When you look at your past to create your identity, you create more of the same. You keep creating the same version of yourself. You keep creating the same life. By failing and learning and trying something new, you create a new world.

Exposing yourself to new experiences, new attempts, and new tries will keep you growing and alive.

It will end stagnation.

Too many people—especially people in midlife—come to me and tell me they can’t take action or try something new because they “don’t know how to do it.”

Or it’s too late to change. So they don’t take action. And they don’t change. It makes no sense.

If you’re struggling because you feel stuck but you’re not taking action and trying new things, you need the tools I teach in my Coaching. And, you need to know how to process and manage your emotions.

Try new things, look silly, feel uncomfortable…

… And have an amazing life. This is where your wishes live!
