Struggling Through Change

Struggling through change…..

I’m meeting a lot of clients who are going through it these days.

Struggling through big transitions.

They’re becoming empty nesters.

Or welcoming their first babies.

Or saying goodbye to aging parents.

Or they’re unhappy with the corporate jobs (or marriages) they’ve had for years.

Many of us are dealing with changes in our bodies we have no control over.

It’s a weird place of feeling like you’re getting bounced around by life and at the same time feeling like you’re stuck in it.

We aren’t powerful enough to control everything and everyone in our lives. (That would be fun, though.)

But we are powerful enough to control ourselves. With the right

coaching tools, we can do it effectively.

One of my favorite tools is “thought work”. It reminds us of our ability to decide what we want to think.

This is something I learned from Byron Katie (during one of my most traumatic experiences).

She showed me you can take a thought that’s in your brain and evaluate it. You can decide whether you want to keep believing it.

I discovered I could choose thoughts and think them deliberately. When I did this work, my entire life started to change. I started feeling better.

I started creating different results in my life. Incredible results!

And any time I go through a period of big transition, I use the power of my brain and my consciousness to evaluate and choose my thoughts to create my results.

We don’t have to go through our lives as a ball of negative emotion, getting bounced around and feeling like we’re at the mercy of what’s happening to us.

Even in the darkest of times, even in the most helpless of times, we can access an incredible amount of power within us. I have proven this time and time again with myself.

Understanding how the brain works and how our brains are programmed is the most powerful, freeing thing any human being can experience.

It’s the most important knowledge we can have to support our mental health. No one can take away your ability to decide what you want to think.

My passion is to help you learn how to do this during your most trying times.

Schedule with me and let’s get to it!

Xo Camille
